The 2009 Virtual Lobby Day was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who participated!

What is a virtual lobby day?
It is a day when partners of Michigan's progressive pro-choice community and their
supporters contact their elected officials, via email and phone, in a concerted effort with a
unified message. Ideally, constituents and supporters will be contacting their State
Representatives and State Senators consistently throughout the day - delivering a strong
message to our policy makers!

While you are calling and emailing, Planned Parenthood volunteers, staff and supporters will be delivering over 3,000 signed petitions of support to legislators in Lansing.

What is the message?
Simple. We support the Prevention First package of bills aimed at reducing the number of
unintended pregnancies in Michigan and allowing women greater access to reproductive
health care (Additional talking points will be provided).

What do I have to do?
Email or call your elected officials! Check back on the website for photos, videos and blogs posted by the hundreds of other supporters taking action on October 6 - or share your own story!
